Update from eBay. This updates whatever category is showing in the Category List. If your Category List is set to All Categories, then every active Category is updated. The time it takes to update depends on your network connection, how may search URLS you are updating and how many auctions are in each search.

When this is selected, Auction Chief shows new auctions. You must Update from eBay before you'll see any auctions.

When this is selected, Auction Chief shows watched auctions. You must Update from eBay before you'll see any auctions.

When this is selected, Auction Chief shows ignored auctions. You must Update from eBay before you'll see any auctions.

This is a list of all your categories. The category listed determines which auctions Auction Chief shows you. If All Categories is selected then all auctions are shown. You must Update from eBay before you'll see any auctions.

This button shows the next category in the Category List.

Clicking this button causes the status of all new auctions to be changed to Ignored. You use this button once you've scanned though the new auctions and switched the status of the ones that look interesting to you to Watched.

This button shows you the next page of auctions.

Controlling The Main Screen

You can select which kinds of auctions are shown on the main screen by pressing the New, Watched and Ignored buttons on the tool bar. You can use the Auction Category list to select a particular category to view.

The Ends button switches between showing the time left before an auction expires and the auction time the auction expires. If you select the actual time, it's based on your computers' time so you don't have to adjust auction end times for eBay time's time zone differences.

You can sort the main auction screen by the lowest current bid price, the highest current bid price or by the ending date.
