Auction Searches Editor

To open the Auction Searches Editor click on the searches toolbar button or select the menu options Setup - Search Groups. The Auction Searches Editor allows you to review the eBay searches you have setup in Auction Chief.

Using the Auction Searches Editor you can remove searches that you don't want any more and you can temporarily have Auction Chief stop updating a search by clicking off the Active checkbox.

Active - If this isn't checked, Auction Chief won't update the search. This provides a way to temporarily stop updating a particular search. Double clicking on a search switches the Active checkbox on and off.
Auction Group - This is the name that you gave the search when you added it to Auction Chief. Searches with the same name are updated and sorted together.
Url Info - This displays what you originally searched for.
Search Url - This is the actual url that eBay uses to perform an auction search.

Add Url - This button opens a window that allows you to enter a search url and select an existing auction group or type in a new one. This isn't the easiest way to add a search. For a better way to add a search, click here.
Edit Url - This button opens a window that allows you to change the search group of the search, change the search's Url, or change the search from being Active to Inactive or vice-versa.
Delete Url - This button removes the selected search from Auction Chief.
Review Url - This button switches to the built in Internet browser and performs the selected search in eBay so you can see exactly what auctions the search is returning.
