The serious eBay buyer's browser
Auction Chief uses the Main Screen to display the results of auction searches. Before the Main Screen will display anything you have to setup an auction search, click here for an example of how to do that.
Here's what each of the toolbar buttons do.
Left click on an auction's description to switch to the Browse Screen and see that auctions eBay item page. Right click on an auction's description to see that auction in your favorite browser. The description of the last auction you clicked on is printed in red to show you where you are in the auction list. Other auctions that you've looked at are printed in dark blue. Click on the status of an auction to change it to Watched or Ignored. Click on the price to set up a snipe. (See sniping)
You can select which kinds of auctions are shown on the main screen by pressing the New, Watched and Ignored buttons on the tool bar. You can use the Search Group List to select a particular search group to view.
You can sort the main screen by status, description, price, number of bids, ending date and search group by clicking on the appropriate column header. Clicking the header again reverses the sort.
You can also sort the main auction screen by the lowest current bid price, the highest current bid price or by the ending date by using the Sort menu option.
You can select multiple auctions and switch their status as a block. Holding down control when left clicking adds the selected auction to the block. Holding down shift when left clicking adds all the auctions since the last selected auction to the block. Control-T switches the status of the selected auctions from new to watched, watched to ignored, and ignored to watched.
