Watching a Single Auction

Normally you use Auction Chief to search eBay for auctions but sometimes you'll find a single auction that isn't part of a search that you'd like to watch. Auction Chief provides two ways to add a single watched auction, using the Add Auction or Search button or using the menu option Auctions - Manually Enter Watched Auction. For sorting purposes, Auction Chief places Manually Watched Auctions in their own search ground called "Manually Watched Auctions."

Using the Add Auction or Search button.

First switch to the Browse Screen by clicking on the Go To eBay toolbar button.

Find the auction that you want to watch in eBay.

Click on the Add Auction or Search toolbar button. This opens an Add A Watched Auction window.

You can give this auction a group name or add it to an existing search group by selecting an existing name.

Now you're watching that auction.

Using the menu option Auctions - Manually Enter Watched Auction.

Selecting the menu option Auctions - Manually Enter Watched Auction, opens an Add A Watched Auction window.

Copy either the complete url of the auction that you want to watch or just it's eBay auction number into the Auction Url.

You can give this auction a group name or add it to an existing search group by selecting an existing name.

Now you're watching that auction.
